What is it

Background

The Government of Côte d’Ivoire has recognised the challenge presented by the provision of progessive public health care to its citizens, and a health care system capable of protecting them from potential outbreaks of infectious diseases. Accordingly, the government has made the modernisation of healthcare facilities a policy and budgetary priority in order to improve on access to quality health services.

In addressing the needs of the nation, the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene signed a contract on the 19th September 2019 with NMS Infrastructure Limited for the design, construction and equipping of six new hospitals across the country.

Lead Contractor

NMS Infrastructure Ltd is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project managing contractor based in the United Kingdom. With a track record in the delivery of innovative turnkey healthcare infrastructure programmes in Sub-Saharan Africa, NMSI provides specialist project teams to exceed client expectations.

Sade Engineering

SADE Engineering’s professional team have a proven track record of knowledge and expertise, based on solid skills and feedback gained from the successful completion of a wide range of projects. SADE was founded in 1918 and is specialised in the design, construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of networks (for water, energy and telecoms) and the structures associated with them (civil engineering). SADE will work with Franzetti on the Civil Engineering aspects of the hospitals.
