On 9th May 2023, a ministerial delegation visited the Katiola hospital, comprising:

- Naomie Matenin KAMAGATE – Communications Officer
- AKA Pacôme B – Chief of Staff for Katiola Regional Hospital
- KOUASSI Mathieu Kouakou – SIC5E Site Manager

A tour of the facility showcased the buildings, including the Main Clinic, Surgery, Paediatrics, General Medical, Service Block, Staff Accommodation and Mortuary. This was followed by a meeting to review the progress of works, where the delegation expressed their appreciation for both the quality of work done and the motivation shown by team members onsite.
