During the month of April, the Environmental Manager and Environmental & Social Impact Specialist from the NMSI UK environmental team travelled to Côte d’Ivoire in order to meet local partners as well as visit four of the six hospital construction sites. The UK Environmental Team representatives met the NMSI CI HSE Manager and together they carried out E&S inspections to assess the four sites against their respective Environmental & Social Management Plans (CESMPs). The environmental team was pleased to observe that the sites were being well-managed, and were grateful for the warm welcome they received on site from the NMSI CI staff and subcontractors.
